Joshua Ledet

SULPHUR, La. — "American Idol" contestant Josh Ledet gave a free outdoor concert in Sulphur. At the Saturday show, Ledet sang gospel music and songs made famous by Whitney Houston and Beyonce, as well as "Idol" fan favorites "When A Man Loves a Woman" and "It's a Man's Man's Man's World."

LOS ANGELES (AP) — The "American Idol" judges are under Joshua Ledet's spell and aren't afraid to show it.

For the second week in a row, the panel on Wednesday lavished the 20-year-old from Westlake, La., with praise, especially for his performance of "It's a Man's World."

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Joshua Ledet is still alive on "American Idol." The singer from Westlake, La., advanced on Thursday after 18-year-old Skylar Laine of Brandon, Miss., received the fewest votes.

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — The "American Idol Live!" tour will stop in the home states of gospel singer Joshua Ledet and country rocker Skylar Laine. Ledet, Laine and the other Top 10 singers will be at the Louisiana Cajundome in Lafayette on July 30, and in the Mississippi Coliseum in Jackson on July 31.
