WEDNESDAY: Niki Papazoglakis; Smiley Anders; Jayne Anne Phillips; Dean Koontz

Niki Papazoglakis, who finished 5th in the 2011 Governor's race, starts off the show this morning to tell us about Freagle, a virtual non-partisan town square for average citizens, politicos and activists.

The Baton Rouge and New Orleans Advocate Columnist Smiley Anders and LPB Producer Ben Williams join Jim to talk about the heartbreaking closure of the Piccadilly Cafeteria in the Westmoreland Village Shopping Center on Government St. The iconic Baton Rouge eatery first opened in 1959 and was loved by many throughout the years.

Author Jayne Anne Phillips, one of America's most accomplished and acclaimed fiction writers, has given us a real life multiple murder story in Quiet Dell. She tells Jim of her inspiration behind the story she says has haunted her for more than four decades.

#1 New York Times Best Selling Author Dean Koontz has done it again with The City -- a riveting soul-stirring story of Jonah Kirk. On today's show, Koontz speaks of his latest novel which he says is his wife's favorite.
