Lafourche Parish officials say water began seeping over a levee, but they had the situation under control by using sandbags.
Officials say no homes are in danger, and only an inch of water actually made it over the levee.
Crews remain on the scene near La. Highway 307 by Bayou Beouf northeast of Thibodaux.
