The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office has lifted the curfew that went into effect ahead of then-Hurricane Isaac.
Sheriff Jerry Larpenter says the curfew was lifted at 6 a.m. Thursday as was a ban on alcohol sales.
Larpenter says deputies will begin assessing damage in the parish, water levels and render aid to any residents in need.
Distribution sites that will supply emergency supplies to residents are being prepared and locations will be announced later.
