New Orleans, LA – The Reading Life looks forward to the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival with this week's guests: Photographer Shannon Brinkman and writer Eve Abrams are the creators of "Preservation Hall," a new book about that venerable jazz institution, and trumpeter Irvin Mayfield is out with a new photography book and CD retrospective, "A Love Letter to New Orleans."
