The New Orleans Police Department's Traffic Unit will conduct a sobriety checkpoint Thursday night, beginning at approximately 9 p.m. on July 24.
The checkpoint will last until approximately 5 a.m. Friday, department spokeswoman Hilal Williams said in a press release. Motorists are advised to have proper documentation with them, including proof of insurance and a driver's license.
Drivers who encounter the checkpoint should experience minimal delays, according to Williams.
