New Orleans is launching its annual series of community budget meetings.
It’s designed to gather residents' opinions on spending priorities for the 2015 fiscal year.
New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu calls it the Budgeting for Outcomes process.
A budget meeting will be held in each city council district along with the district council member. Others set to attend are the city's deputy mayors, police chief Ronal Serpas, fire chief Tim McConnell and other department and agency heads.
