Inside The Arts: Symphony Chorus-Tyler's Suite, Landscape Masterworks At NOMA, Thomas Mann's FEAST

Thomas Mann's FEAST

This week on Inside the Arts, the Symphony Chorus of New Orleans presents the inaugural regional performance of Tyler's Suite .  It is a nine-piece choral movement dedicated to the memory of Tyler Clementi who took his life after being bullied by his roommate during his first weeks of college.

Then, we tour the exhibit,  Seeing Nature: Landscape Masterworks from the Paul G. Allen Family Collection  on view at the New Orleans Museum of Art. The exhibit features 39 masterpieces exploring the evolution of European and American landscape painting.

And,  we talk with sculptor and jewelry artist Thomas Mann who is reaching out to artists affected by the August floods with an event called FEAST.

Airs Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m. and Thursdays at 8:45 a.m.
