The New Orleans Saints lost another home game Sunday, this time to the Cincinnati Bengals.
Sunday’s 27-10 thrashing of the Saints by the Bengals was the second straight loss for New Orleans, and the second in a row at the Superdome.
It was, perhaps coincidentally, the second appearance of the third-down siren. Cincinnati converted 9 of 13 third downs.
Steve Gleason tweeted out that third downs were greater than Rob Ryan.
Since the Atlanta Falcons won, the Saints are now second in the NFC South. No team in the division has a winning record.
The Saints will host the Baltimore Ravens a week from Monday. The Ravens are 6-4 and coming off their bye week.
In college football, Tulane lost their homecoming game… and LSU was shutout by Arkansas.
3rd down > Rob Ryan.
