6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Chickie Wah Wah, 2828 Canal St.

Come join Eve Abrams, radio producer, writer, audio documentarian, and educator as we continue our SpeakEasy series on April 24  at Chickie Wah Wah.

"Over the course of 2013, I interviewed dozens and dozens of folks who live, or once lived, in the neighborhoods along both sides of St. Claude Avenue, roughly from St. Bernard to Poland Avenue," says Along Saint Claude producer Eve Abrams. "I asked them to share stories of their neighborhoods, what they’re like now, how they’ve changed, and how they feel about those changes. These voices became the makings of this seven-part radio documentary."

Eve will be on stage with Victoria Elmwood, Daniel Eaglin, and Roy Markey (from the documentary) and we look forward to hearing from them and from you. Please come join the conversation.
