Record-Size Dead Zone Predicted

New Orleans, La. – Professor Nancy Rabalais of the Louisiana Universities Marine Consortium says two factors are combining to form a dead zone predicted to be the size of Delaware and New Jersey. That's more than 9400 miles covered on the bottom of the Continental shelf.

1 lemon
1/3 pound butter, unsalted, cold, and cut in 1/2 inch cubes

EPA Releases Ingredients Of Chemical Dispersants

New Orleans, La. – The Gulf Restoration Network along with the Florida Wildlife Federation filed a federal lawsuit last year to force the EPA to release the ingredients of Corexit and other dispersants. More than 2 million gallons were applied to the surface as well as at the wellhead to break apart the crude oil.
