Journey, Rascal Flatts Headline Super Bowl Concert

Journey and Rascal Flatts will headline the Super Bowl XLVII CMT Crossroads concert during the weekend before the big game.

The two bands will perform Saturday, Feb. 2, at 9 p.m. CST at the Sugar Mill in New Orleans. The performance will be broadcast on CMT at 11 p.m. CST, the night before the championship game featuring the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers.

Super Bowl XLVII will be a never-before matchup of teams coached by two brothers.

The Baltimore Ravens, led by John Harbaugh, will play his younger brother Jim's San Francisco 49ers on Feb. 3 in New Orleans.

Maybe it should be called the Harbowl, as they're saying on NFL.com.

Patriots, 49ers To Meet In February's Super Bowl

The match up for Super Bowl is set. In two weeks, the San Francisco 49ers, winners of the NFC championship, will play the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens were big underdogs in their game, yesterday, against the defending AFC champions, the New England Patriots. Same teams as last season, but this time a different result. The Ravens beat the home team 28 to 13.

NPR's Mike Pesca was at the game in Foxborough, Massachusetts and filed this report.

Heavy Air Traffic Expected in Baton Rouge

Baton Rouge tourism and airport officials are preparing for a large influx of traffic through the city because of the Super Bowl in New Orleans on Feb. 3.

Some of the heaviest traffic will come through Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport, where officials and businesses are expecting as many as 250 additional planes that will need to be parked during the event.
