Starting Tuesday, July 24 at 1:00 p.m. 89.9 WWNO's long-running, multi-award-winning feature series Inside the Arts will debut in a new half-hour version hosted by Diane Mack. WWNO's Fred Kasten picks up the story.

Starting next Tuesday, July 24, The Reading Life with host Susan Larson will move to new times on the 89.9 WWNO schedule: Tuesday afternoons at 1:30 p.m., and Sundays at noon. Susan Larson recently talked with WWNO's Fred Kasten about the development and evolution of The Reading Life.

Tell Me More is one of the most recent additions to NPR's roster of high-quality news and information programs.  It joins the 89.9 WWNO schedule Monday, July 23, and will air weekday afternoons at 2:00 p.m.

Tell Me More is hosted by former Washington Post, Wall Street Journal and ABC News journalist Michel Martin — who recently talked with WWNO's Fred Kasten about Tell Me More and how she got involved.

Starting the week of July 23, a top-notch slate of NPR News and information programs — including On Point, Here and Now and Tell Me More — will join the 89.9 WWNO weekday lineup.

At the same time, one of the station's most popular local programs, Poppy Tooker's Louisiana Eats!, will move to new times — Wednesday afternoons at 1:00 p.m. and Saturday mornings at 11:00 a.m. — and expand to a full hour. Poppy Tooker recently talked with WWNO's Fred Kasten about the origins of Louisiana Eats! and plans for the expanded version.
