Join WWNO as we present a month of holiday programming! This week we celebrate Hanukkah with Candles Burning Brightly (airing Tuesday at 8 p.m.), where hosts Mindy Ratner and Bill Morelock offer a program which explores the customs and music of the holiday, and Hanukkah Lights (airing Friday at 8 p.m.), hosted by Murray Horwitz and Susan Stamberg, where five authors explore Hanukkah traditions in original stories.

RTA Announces Holiday Schedule

The New Orleans Regional Transit Authority has announced service changes and expected delays for the Thanksgiving holiday through the Bayou Classic this weekend.

Riders headed downtown tomorrow are advised there will be numerous cancelations, delays and detours due to the Thanksgiving Day parade.
