Also, just across campus, an original work by local playwright Jim Fitzmorris, The Everlasting Bonfire, seta a unique stage at the New Orleans Shakespeare Festival at Tulane. Both performances run June 17-20, 2010.

New Orleans, LA – The Louisiana Composers Forum is a new organization created to foster the development of new classical music in Louisiana. With support from the Arts Council of New Orleans and the New Orleans Musicians Foundation, the Louisiana Composers Forum will have its first concert on September 29, 2010 at the Contemporary Arts Center of New Orleans. Submissions are now being accepted for this performance. The deadline for submissions to be received is July 3, 2010. All Louisiana residents are eligible to apply.
