SULPHUR, La. — "American Idol" contestant Josh Ledet gave a free outdoor concert in Sulphur. At the Saturday show, Ledet sang gospel music and songs made famous by Whitney Houston and Beyonce, as well as "Idol" fan favorites "When A Man Loves a Woman" and "It's a Man's Man's Man's World."
LOS ANGELES (AP) — The three "American Idol" finalists earned nearly uniform votes of confidence from the show's judges. But it's the audience tally that will determine which two singers advance to next week's finale.
Joshua Ledet's gritty performance Wednesday of "I'd Rather Be Blind" had the judges on their feet — not an uncommon reaction to the Westlake, La., gospel singer. He also impressed the panel with "Imagine" and "No More Drama."
NEW ORLEANS (AP) — The "American Idol Live!" tour will stop in the home states of gospel singer Joshua Ledet and country rocker Skylar Laine. Ledet, Laine and the other Top 10 singers will be at the Louisiana Cajundome in Lafayette on July 30, and in the Mississippi Coliseum in Jackson on July 31.
