Win Big on Cyber Monday With Haikus of NPR Cheer

You want some NPR swag? It's "Cyber Monday," and we've got some (free) treats to throw into the online-shopping and deal-finding frenzy. We are giving away one limited-edition Tivoli Songbook radio designed by artist Peter Max and nine of the new NPR Travel Mugs to those who show NPR some love and holiday cheer.

What do you have to do, you ask? Tell us why all you want for the holidays is more NPR. In ahaiku.

Put on your haiku holiday thinking cap, and remember, a haiku is a poem with the first line containing five syllables, the second line has seven syllables and the third line has five.

Submit your entry by email to ThisIsNPR@npr.org by Tuesday, November 27, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern. One entry will be randomly selected to receive the Tivoli Songbook and nine others will receive the new NPR Travel Mug (so you can stay caffeinated and hydrated while you shop-til-you-drop).

We will also comb through all of the sure-to-be-awesome holiday haikus and post some right here at the blog after the winners have been selected.

While you are surfing the web today, head over to the newly-redesigned website for fresh gift ideas, that support public radio with every purchase.

Happy Haiku'ing!

Contest Rules: You must be 18 or older to enter. Responses received in the ThisIsNPR@npr.org inbox before the entry deadline will be eligible to win. No purchase necessary. See complete list of contest rules.
