Jim Nickel, former Democratic Campaign Advisor/Director and now with Courson Nickel, LLC, hosts today's show while Jim is away.

Stephen Waguespack, President of LABI (Louisiana Association of Business and Industry), joins Jim as the first guest and discusses recent legislation (SB 469) signed by Governor Bobby Jindal that squashes a lawsuit filed by the Southeast Louisiana Flood Protection Authority - East against 97 Oil & Gas Companies. They as well discuss the recent decision by the Governor to speak out against Common Core.

Louisiana State Senator Ben Nevers joins today's line-up of guests and discusses his Public School Choice Act bill which is awaiting the Governor's decision. He as well touches on the recent anti-fracking push by the St. Tammany Parish Council.

Michael Bonnette, the LSU Associate Athletics Director and Sports Information Director wraps up this past year in LSU Athletics; a year that saw great performances not only in football, but golf and gymnastics as well. Also, Michael talks about the highly anticipated new SEC Network for television; who can get it, and who benefits?
