Sandbag locations in St. John the Baptist Parish will open Monday at 10:00 a.m., the parish announced in a press release.
Sand and bags will be available at the following locations:
- Fire Station #53 at 1703 St. Andrews Blvd. in LaPlace
- Fire Station #94 at 1200 Hwy. 643 in Pleasure Bend
- Fire Station #65 located at 337 Central Avenue in Reserve
- Fire Station #71 at 418 Historic West St. in Garyville
- Old Second Ward High School at 3671 Highway 18 in Edgard
Residents are asked to bring a shovel to fill their bags.
