Renowned Jazz Critic and Historian Dan Morgenstern to Speak at Satchmo Summerfest

The ninth annual Satchmo Summerfest - set for July 30th - August 2nd, 2009 in and around the Old U.S. Mint in the French Quarter - celebrates the life and influence of Louis Armstrong with live performances of traditional and contemporary jazz and brass band music - children's programming - and an extensive slate of seminars featuring nationally renowned speakers. Among those speakers this year is jazz critic and historian Dan Morgenstern. WWNO'S Fred Kasten picks up the story...
