Preview: Hornets/Timberwolves
The New Orleans Hornets will try to extend their winning streak to four tonight against the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves.
The Bees have been on a roll with star guard Eric Gordon, winning four of their last five since his return from a nagging knee injury — and are coming off a dominant 88-79 win over the Houston Rockets on Wednesday.
The Timberwolves are coming into New Orleans for the second game of a four-game road trip with just ten healthy players. The Wolves are fresh off a 22-point loss in Oklahoma City, and have been without Forward Kevin Love, who is headed to surgery for a fractured hand, Guard J.J. Barea, who’s been suffering from back spasms, and even head coach Rick Adelman, who has stayed in Minnesota to be with his wife in the hospital.
Tonight’s game tips off at 7 p.m. at the New Orleans Arena.
