Ramble showcases regional guests in barn party

Another showcase of the region's food, art, and music is ready to roll this Saturday.

The North Delta Ramble features a bar-b-q and fish fry, with swamp pop music and vibrant art decorating the walls of theRiverbendBarn.  "We have Chefs Cory Bahr and Derek Emerson.  Our artist is Stan Street, who specializes in blues-themed folk art.  Our band, out of New Orleans, is Honey Island Swamp Band," said event founder Alan Brockman.

Brockman says the filmed event portrays a day-in-the-life approach to the featured personalities on the program.  "We want to highlight life in the Delta in a unique way," he said.

Guests also appear during the program sharing about the region.  The program will be televised late this year on Louisiana Public Broadcasting.
