New Orleans Police Superintendent Ronal Serpas says he needs the public to keep tipping investigators to the whereabouts Bobby Troy, suspected of killing Slidell optometrist Brent Hachfeld last month in a French Quarter robbery.
"This case was made through a tremendous amount of hard work, to include the Louisiana State Police Crime Lab that produced DNA analysis for us in a quick and timely fashion so that our detectives would have that real information as they move forward," Serpas said. "But Bobby Troy is not in custody yet, and we would continue to remind the community to keep stepping up as they have to share that information with us, and get that information so we can bring him into custody."
New Orleans police suspect 19-year-old Troy hit Hachfeld over the head at Dauphine and Dumaine streets on October 16th.
