Police say 31-year-old Monica Pollard fatally stabbed her boyfriend at around 1:50 p.m. this afternoon, during an argument inside her house in the 2200 block of Orleans Avenue. The victim made his way outside, collapsed, and was taken to a local hospital where he died.

Pollard has previously been arrested for theft, forgery, trespassing, disturbing the peace, and obstructing a public place, according to police and the Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office.
