New Orleans Has Peaceful Protest Over Ferguson Decision

More than 50 people gathered in New Orleans to protest the grand jury decision in Ferguson, Missouri.

It was peaceful and there were no arrests.

Nola.com/The Times-Picayune reports more than 50 people protested the decision not to indict the police officer who shot and killed 18-year-old Michael Brown.

The New Orleans group entered the police station on Rampart Street, and then moved on to the entrance to Armstrong Park.

Plans are reportedly being made for upcoming protests.

Meantime, officials say Ferguson protests became more violent than those held immediately after Brown was killed.
