Musician Thibodeaux to be honored

LAFAYETTE — Musician Goldman Thibodeaux will be honored Sunday at the Vermilionville Living History Museum's Creole Culture Day celebration.

The accordion player and singer leads the band Goldman Thibodeaux & the Lawtell Playboys.

The Advocate reports Creole Culture Day events are scheduled from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will include cooking and craft demonstrations, games, dance lessons and music.
