Man Behind Super Mario's Success Has Died At 85

The man behind the success of Super Mario Bros. has died.

Hiroshi Yamauchi was the president of Nintendo for more than half a century, from 1949 until 2002. He passed away at age 85.

Here & Now speaks with Jeff Ryan, author of the book “Super Mario: How Nintendo Conquered America” about Yamauchi’s legacy and how he created such a successful company.
