Loss And Renewal Mark New Orleans 10 Years After Katrina

A story headlined “Beyond The Breach” in ESPN The Magazine weaves the lives of several different characters into a narrative of life in New Orleans 10 years after Katrina.

It’s the first time the magazine has devoted an entire issue to a single writer and a single subject. The result paints a picture of how the hurricane disrupted and changed so many lives when it hit the city in 2005.

Here & Now’s Lisa Mullins speaks with the author of the piece, Wright Thompson.
