One day Leah Busque had to buy some dog food, but she didn't have time to run out and get it herself. That's when she came up with the idea behind TaskRabbit, an online and mobile marketplace that aims to connect busy people who need a little extra time with entrepreneurial people who need a little extra money.
Since TaskRabbit started in 2008, the company has expanded to 60 employees, raised nearly $40 million in venture funding, and been named "The Next Big Thing in Tech" by the New York Times.
