Lafourche Parish curfew partially lifted

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre says they've lifted the curfew for the northern part of the parish, including all areas between Thibodaux and the Bellevue Bridge to Lockport.

Webre says power has been partially restored in the area and the roads have been cleared significantly.

Areas south of the Bellevue Bridge will remain under curfew as Louisiana Highway 1 and Highway 308 South are impassable due to debris along the roads. Power poles and lines suffered heavy destruction in the lower portions of Lafourche and efforts continue to clear streets and restore electricity to those areas.

Webre says since the parish wide curfew was established, just four violations have been issued.
