Inside The Arts: Simply The Best-The Tina Turner Story, Bal Masque, Urban Bush Women

This week on Inside the Arts, New Orleans Jazz vocalist Anais St. John debuts Simply the Best: The Tina Turner Story.  She joins us for a chat about her live tribute to the Queen of Rock 'n' Roll.

Then, a Carnival celebration finds revelers masking with a mission---to break the cycle of poverty and violence for New Orleans' youth thru the culinary arts. World renowned chefs and international musicians headline the 3rd Annual Link Stryjewski Foundation's Bal Masque. Chef Stephen Stryjewski will join us.

And, the New York based Urban Bush Women will bring contemporary dance to the CAC with a performance of Hair and Other Stories.

Airs Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m., Wednesdays at 8:30 p.m., and Thursdays at 8:45 a.m.
