This week on Inside the Arts, an opera set at the Louisiana State penitentiary at Angola opens this week as the New Orleans Opera Association presents Dead Man Walking.
The award-winning opera by Jake Heggie is based on the non-fiction book of the same title by Sister Helen Prejean. It is the story of a death row inmate and a nun who becomes his spiritual adviser. We talk with mezzo-soprano Jennifer Rivera and baritone Michael Mayes.
