Inside The Arts: All On A Mardi Gras Day!

This week on Inside the Arts, it's Carnival time in the city's tricentennial year.  We look at  Mardi Gras past and present.

What are you going to do with all of those beads as krewes answer your call to "throw me something mister?"  Jazz vocalist Sybil Gage sings about that rallying cry.

We'll take a look at bead recycling.

Then, an exhibit at the New Orleans Museum of Art looks at the artistry of Carnival at the turn of the 20th Century through the eyes of designer Bror Anders Wikstrom.

And, Peggy Scott Laborde drops by with a heads up on WYES-TV's live broadcast of the meeting of the courts of Rex and Comus.

Airs Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m., Wednesdays at 8:30 p.m., and Thursdays at 8:45 a.m.
