New Orleans, LA – Mayor Landrieu says city police will have more state troopers on hand to oversee one of the city's premiere events.
"We're going to have hundreds of thousands of people in town this weekend for the Bayou Classic. You should know that we have extra folks working at the airport. We have -- everybody is on hand, on deck to make sure that things run smoothly."
Landrieu is cautioning that traffic will also be especially heavy from the Thanksgiving travel and is advising driver to be extra careful.
