Central City shooting leaves one dead, two wounded
A triple shooting in the Central City neighborhood Wednesday night left a 25-year-old man dead and two male teenagers wounded, police say.
The Times-Picayune reports the shootings happened about 8 p.m. near the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Magnolia Street.
Police say an unidentified suspect in a black vehicle opened fire on the three as they stood near the entrance to a grocery store. All were shot multiple times and were taken to a local hospital, where one later died.
The wounded teens were described as 15 and 18 years old. Officers say they have no suspect or possible motive.
