Richard Goodman, Creative Director of Storyville, is an Assistant Professor of English at the University of New Orleans. He is the author four books, French Dirt: The Story of a Garden in the South of France; A New York Memoir; The Bicycle Diaries: One New Yorker’s Journey Through 9/11 and The Soul of Creative Writing.

Goodman spent most of his adult life in New York City working as a writer and teacher before moving to New Orleans in 2011. He has an MFA in Creative Nonfiction as well as an MA in English. Follow his blog about growing old, and older, and older, at
