Red River Radio announces programming changes to begin the week of September 30. Several brand new shows will join the line-up while a few older shows will either no longer be aired or will move to the station’s HD3 channel.
The new shows include "Radiolab," “Ask Me Another,” the “TED Radio Hour,” “Mountain Stage,” and “Snap Judgment.” which are all programs from NPR. The station will be removing “From the Top,” “Thistle and Shamrock” and “World Café.” “Fresh Air” will be heard exclusively on Red River Radio’s Digital HD 3 channel and From The Top will move to Red River Radio's HD 2 channel.
LSU Shreveport drew dozens of employers to its campus yesterday for a job and internship fair. The fair was open to LSUS students and alumni. Student development assistant director SaraMargaret Mladenka said the career fair was a chance to showcase students and alumni in front of 69 exhibitors.

Good morning, fellow political junkies.Today finds the Senate in continued debate aimed at reaching a legislative agreement that keeps the federal government open into the new fiscal year which starts Oct. 1.
Meanwhile, there seems to be a growing mood among congressional Republicans to test President Obama's resolve to not negotiate over raising the debt ceiling in a few weeks.
