Pelicans To Pick Sixth In NBA Draft

The New Orleans Pelicans landed the number-six pick in last night’s NBA Draft lottery in New York City.

Instead, the Cleveland Cavaliers came away with the top selection for the June 27 draft. This is the Cavaliers’ second number-one pick in the past three years.

It's the end of a long road for Hugo. Designed by Cheryl Henson, the daughter of Muppet creator Jim Henson, Hugo entered the league in 1988, his rookie season coinciding with the inaugural year of the Charlotte Hornets franchise, the team's original home.
