5-Alarm Bywater Fire Damages Homes, Warehouses

New Orleans firefighters battled the blaze and Press at Urquhart Streets.

The New Orleans Fire Department battled an early morning five-alarm fire in the city's Bywater neighborhood.

There were reports of damage to at least two homes and two warehouses in the area. No injuries were reported.

The fire was reported around 1 a.m. It was under control by 3 a.m., but firefighters stayed on the scene through the morning to battle hot spots.
